In the latest job notification, Department of Biotechnology announces job vacancies for Scientist post on direct recruitment basis, in reference to No. A-12011/06/2018-Estt.

Under Department of Biotechnology Scientist Recruitment 2019, candidates completed Bachelor’s Degree/Master Degree in relevant subjects can apply.

On basis of Written test and Interview, an applicant for the desired post will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will be recruited on, with salary pay of Rs.67,700-2,08,700 per month.

Eligibility Criteria For Department of Biotechnology Posts:

No. Of Vacancies: 27 (UR-15; OBC-7; SC-04; ST-01).

Name of the post: Scientist ‘C’.

Age Limit:

As on 01.03.2019, Candidate maximum age limit should be 40 years.

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Should complete B.Sc Master of Science in Life Sciences or Bachelor of Veterinary Science or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in the field of Biotechnology from a recognized University.

Selection Process:

On basis of Written test and Interview.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 1500 through online mode.

Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability are exempted from paying a fee.
