Responsibilities:

• Having experience of 6+ years as MS-SQL DBA with 1-2 years in DB2 DBA
• Database Installation, Configuration, Patching activities on Cluster, Standalone environment for MS-SQL.
• DB2 Installations, Upgrades and Fix pack updates on Linux, Unix and Windows Environment and New Server Builds.
• Having strong knowledge on High Availability Configuration (Cluster, Log-Shipping, Mirroring, Always-On, etc.) and troubleshooting for all environments of MS-SQL.
• Strong experience on Migrations, Upgradation and Patching activities handling independently on MS-SQL.
• Responsible for installation, upgrades (Database and RAC), patches, Database tuning, concurrent manager administration, cloning / DB refresh on both the environments (MS-SQL). 
• Good Experience of DB2 Backup’s and Restores including redirect restores.
• Experience in performing database loads and unloads, tablespace containers and resize on tablespaces.
• SQL Tuning using db2advisor and db2explain tools.
