Essential Job Functions:
- 5-10 Years of good hands-on expertise on developing web applications
- Java Developer with professional experience of working in software development and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications for Insurance domain.
- Solid experience with Java technologies and working with: Java 8, Spring MVC, Spring Boot microservices, Restful APIs, Angular8-16, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, MAVEN, GIT, React JS.
- Exposure and/or experience with supporting technologies: Messaging (AMQ, IBM MQ), Databases (MSSQL, DB2), JUNIT, Docker, AWS Services, Jenkins.
- Experience with Java, Linux, and Tomcat, as well as experience with full-stack web development.
- An understanding of how to protect web applications from common security vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, domain modelling, and building highly scalable and available systems.
- Play a key role in the development of best practices in software design, implementation, and coding standards
- Worked in an Agile Framework based environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role years of relevant software engineering experience
- Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
