Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Should have prior knowledge on Oracle database version 11g, 12c, 18c and 19c versions
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and internals.
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and related products.
• Create and maintain Oracle databases, including user management, schema design.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, including resolving incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing preventive measures.
• Plan and execute database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Basic configuration of Disaster Recovery Techniques (Oracle Dataguard)
• Must have knowledge of ASM (Automatic Storage Management) configuration and migration.
• Excellent problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge and hands on experience of basic UNIX commands and functionality.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Knowledge of Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)
• Oracle database performance tuning skills
• Knowledge of Open Source Databases
• Hands on experience on IBM AIX Operating System
• Basic knowledge of storage technologies
