Role:

• Full life cycle software development and maintenance from architecture through development, release and support.

• Designing, coding, and debugging systems in C/C++ is required and exposure to other programming languages like Python will be an advantage.

• Implementation of software for data protection and storage management.

• Knowledge of Inter-component interface design (both SW< -> HW and application< -> system software).

• Build integration with existing infrastructure, and cross-team development to support existing features and develop new capabilities.

• Write Software which is suitable for versioning, updating, minimizing availability impact, etc.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• 4-6 yrs of Excellent C/C++ coding skills as mandatory.

• Very good experience in writing code at Kernel level related to System I/O on Linux or other *NIX variant at a product company OR has extensive experience in writing efficient C/C++ code for networking and system integration.

• Experience with System Diagnostics and Optimizations is going to be a great advantage.

• Storage experience is desirable but not mandatory.

• Hands on experience with handling customer feedback, bring-up, debugging, customer delivery, and support.

• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Understanding of Storage technology, Backup products, Agile methodology.

• Knowledge of working with and building integrations for applications like DB2, MongoDB, Exchange, SAP HANA, Oracle, VMWare etc will be highly beneficial.
