The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, invites applications for the position of Scientist-C (Non-Medical) under the Infectious Disease Research and Diagnostic Laboratories (IRDL). The appointment is on a regular basis through direct recruitment and includes an all-India transfer liability under the Council.
As per the ICMR Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Master’s degree in Science/Technology/Biotechnology and relevant research experience, including Ph.D. in Infectious Disease Surveillance or related fields, are eligible to apply.
The selection for the Scientist-C post will be based on a Computer-Based Written Test (MCQs) or interview or both. The written test will be of qualifying nature, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview based on merit.
The selected candidate will be placed in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix (₹67,700–₹2,08,700) as per the 7th CPC scale, along with usual allowances admissible to ICMR employees.
