The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Kolkata, invites applications for the post of Research Associate in the field of International Trade & Economics, International Shipping, Maritime Law & Policies, Sectoral Trade Agreements, and International Relations. The appointment will be on a contractual basis.

As per the IIFT Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a degree in Law/Maritime Law or a Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Shipping, or Maritime Management, along with relevant experience, are eligible to apply.

The selection for the Research Associate post will be based on merit, determined through a test and/or interview.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹45,000 to ₹55,000, based on the year of engagement.
