Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, Department of Electrical Engineering, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB-funded project titled "Development of Resilient and Trust-Based Cooperative Control Schemes for Multi-Lane Heterogeneous Vehicle Platooning in Mixed Traffic Scenarios." The appointment is purely on a contractual basis for a duration of 12 months.

In accordance with the IIT Roorkee Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with M.Tech/M.E./B.Tech/B.E. in relevant fields are eligible to apply.

The selection for the desired post will be based on merit, determined through an interview.

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs.37000.

The age limit will be as per IIT Roorkee norms.

Educational Qualifications

• Essential:
  • M.Tech/M.E. in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Control Systems or allied fields) with a CGPA above 7.0 (on a 10-point scale) or above 70% aggregate.
  • B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering and allied fields with a CGPA above 7.5 (on a 10-point scale) or above 75% aggregate.
  • Must have qualified GATE.
• Desirable:
  • Experience in Robot Operating System (ROS-2).
  • Solid background in Linear Algebra and Control Theory.
