The Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna, invites applications for Assistant Professor positions in various departments. The recruitment is for regular appointments through direct recruitment.
As per the IGIMS Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with MD, MS, or DNB qualifications in relevant disciplines, along with three years of teaching or research experience, are eligible to apply.
The selection process will be based on merit, determined through an interview.
The selected candidates will receive a salary as per Level 12 (₹1,01,500) plus NPA and other allowances as applicable.

Educational Qualifications:
- MD/MS/DNB in the respective specialty from a recognized institute.
- Three years of teaching/research experience in the relevant field.
Age Limit:
- Maximum: 50 years as of the last date of application.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for EBC/BC & all female candidates.
