Primary Responsibilities:

• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams & individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Full development lifecycle from inception through implementation. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

• Understanding/willing to understand fundamental design principles behind Cloud-Foundry, Micro-Services & Scalable applications
• Front-office/risk management business knowledge as well as knowledge of financial instrument features and trade processing would be an advantage.
• Financial Engineering knowledge and familiarity with risk and regulatory systems and the data flows.
• Financial products knowledge such as OTC Derivatives, Securities, Repos, Securitization would be an advantage.

Qualification & Required Skills:

• Engineering degree with minimum 3 to 8 years of experience in the following.
• Hands on experience and proficiency in any Programming and willing to work on Python development (including Pandas, Numpy, and web frameworks like CherryPy, Flask) & Web services/REST APIs.
• Web development skills - JavaScript, JQuery or any other client side frameworks or APIs like ReactJS, ExtJS, CSS3 and HTML
• Applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles
• Adequate knowledge on data structure and algorithm
• Deep understanding of, and passion for, SDLC processes, Agile Methodlogy and automated tools, spanning requirements/issue management, defect tracking, source control, build automation, test automation and release management.
