In the latest job notification, Karnataka State Police announces job vacancies for Jailor & Warder posts for HK & NHK regions, in reference to Notification No.80/Rect-2/2018-2019 for Karnataka Prisons Department.

Under Karnataka State Police Jailor & Warder Recruitment 2019, candidates completed 10th/Degree are required to apply.

On basis of Written Examination, PET & PST and Viva-Voce (only for Jailor), an applicant for the desired post will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will be recruited with salary pay of Rs 21,400 to Rs 62,600 per month.

An interested and qualified candidate has to apply through online mode by 09/03/2019.

Eligibility Criteria For Karnataka State Police Posts:

Name of the post:  Jailor & Warder.

Age Limit:

As on 09.03.2019, Candidate age limit should be 20 to 26 years.

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Should complete SSLC / 10th Standard or Equivalent Or Must be holder of Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Qualification. Preference being given to candidates possessing a Bachelor Degree in Sociology or Psychology or Criminology or Correctional Administration or Equivalent Qualification from recognized university/institute.

Selection process:

On basis of Written Examination, PET & PST and Viva-Voce (only for Jailor).

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 250 through online mode.

Reserved applicants to pay a fee of Rs 100.
