The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, invites applications for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate-I position under a DST-funded project in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering. The appointment is purely on a contractual basis.

As per the NITK Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with an M.Tech./M.E./MS(R) in relevant disciplines are eligible to apply.

The selection process for the advertised post will be based on merit, determined through a written test and/or interview.

The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹31,000 plus House Rent Allowance (HRA).

Educational Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications:
  • M.Tech./MS(R)/M.E. or equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Communication Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering.
  • Expertise in Signal Processing, MATLAB coding, Machine and Deep Learning, and Python Coding.
  • Minimum CGPA of 6.5/10 or 60% aggregate marks from a recognized institute/university.
  • A good GATE/UGC-NET score will be an added advantage.
• Age Limit:
  • Not more than 28 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.
