National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the DST-Odisha-funded project titled "Process Development for Synbiotic Millet-Based Beverage and Instant Powder." The position is purely on a temporary/contractual basis and co-terminus with the completion of the project.

In accordance with the NIT Rourkela Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with an M.Tech in Food Engineering/Post-Harvest Engineering/Food Technology and a valid GATE/NET score are eligible to apply.

The selection for the desired post will be based on merit, determined through an online interview.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly consolidated salary of ₹17,000.
