As per the ICAR-NBPGR Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with Graduation and Diploma can apply for Senior Research Fellow and Project Assistant posts.

The selection process includes a walk-in/virtual interview, only for shortlisted candidates after application screening.

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 47,000 for SRF and Rs. 20,000 for the Project Assistant, as applicable.

Educational Qualifications

Senior Research Fellow: Master degree in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology/Plant Breeding, or equivalent with the necessary experience.

Project Assistant: B.Sc. in Life Science/Diploma in Engineering & Technology/Computer/IT.

Age Limit

General (SRF) 35 years.

General (Project Assistant) 50 years.

Salary Details

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs.42,000 for SRF and Rs.20,000 for the Project Assistant, as applicable.
