The National Centre for Polar & Ocean Research (NCPOR) (formerly NCAOR), an Autonomous Society under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

In the latest job notification, NCPOR announces job vacancies for the project titled “Climate Evolution of the Indian Sector of the Southern Ocean over the Late Quaternary” on a temporary basis, in reference to Advt. No. NCAOR/43/19.

Under NCPOR Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2019, candidates completed PG in a relevant subject can apply.

On the basis of Interview performance, an applicant for the desired post will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will be recruited for a period of 1 year, with salary pay of Rs. 31,000 per month.

An Interested and qualified candidate has to walkin on announced date and venue.

Age Limit:

Candidate's maximum age limit should be 28 years.

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Post Graduation in Geology/Marine Geology/Applied Geology / Environmental Sciences/from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks at graduation and post-graduation level.
