The National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, invites online applications for Project Engineer-I and Project Engineering Assistant positions on a contractual basis.
As per the NIOT Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Diploma in Civil Engineering or a B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with relevant work experience are eligible to apply.
The selection for the desired posts will be based on an interview for Project Engineer-I and a written test for Project Engineering Assistant.
The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary based on project norms.

Salary & Benefits
- Project Engineer-I: ₹56,000/- + HRA (Fixed throughout the project tenure).
- Project Engineering Assistant: ₹20,000/- + HRA (Fixed throughout the project tenure).
