National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli invites applications for Graduate and Diploma Apprentice Trainees under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and its subsequent amendments. The apprenticeship program aligns with the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), providing hands-on, On-the-Job Training (OJT) for one year.
As per the NIT Trichy Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a graduate degree or diploma in relevant fields are eligible to apply. The apprenticeship is open to those who have registered with BOAT/BOPT within three years of completing their final exams.
The selection process will be based on eligibility and registration through the NATS portal.
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.9,000 for graduates and Rs.8,000 for diploma holders.
Interested and eligible candidates must apply online from 30-01-2025 to 17-02-2025.

Steps to Apply
- Visit the NATS portal: https://nats.education.gov.in.
- Click on "Student" and then "Student Register".
- Complete the application form to generate a unique Enrollment Number.
- After enrollment:
- Login with email ID and password.
- Under "Apply against advertised vacancies", search for "National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli".
- Click "Apply" (you will see the status as applied).
