The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli, invites applications for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under a research project in the Department of Chemical Engineering. The appointment is purely temporary for a tenure of up to three years.
As per the NIT Tiruchirappalli Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with an M.Sc in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, or a B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or any relevant specialization with 55% aggregate marks and a valid NET/GATE qualification are eligible to apply.
The selection process for the JRF position will be based on an interview.
The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹31,000 for the first two years and ₹35,000 in the third year, as per project norms.
Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format via registered post to the Principal Investigator on or before 20-03-2025 (5:00 PM). Shortlisted candidates will be notified for the interview.
