North Western Railways, one among the 17 railway zones in India, headquartered its operations in Jaipur.

On 30^th Oct 2017 announced North Western Railways 2017 Apprentice Recruitment notification to fill 1164 vacancies to that effect to fill designation trades include Fitter, Carpenter, Welder, Painter, M.M.T.M and Machinist in 8 different workshops/units which are under jurisdiction of North Western Railways.

Name Of The Posts: Apprentice

Age Limit: Candidate applying for the post should have age in between 18-24 years as on 30-10-2017. And age relaxation of upto 10 years is applicable for candidates from reserved category SC/ST, OBC, PH and Ex-service men.

Education Qualification: Applicant should pass 10^th class exam with minimum 50% marks, or equivalent 10+2 from recognizable board with same percentage and should also have National Trade Certificate.

Application Fee: No application fee for candidates from SC/ST/Women/PWD category. And as for others have to pay fee of Rs 100/- through online payment gateway during process of filling up application online.

How To Apply: Application for the designated trades was completely done online. Candidate need to visit https://rrcactapp.in/ and fill the application with necessary details and documents that asked for to complete the application process. Followed by completion, applicant has to take print out of the application for future purpose.

Selection Process: Candidates for the Apprentice posts will be selected solely on basis merit list, which composes 10^th class marks + ITI marks. Followed then, candidate will be selected provisionally for the post and called for verification of certificates and medical examination. And upon found eligible the person will be opted for desired Apprentice post by North Western Railways.
