Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into logical/physical data models that are easy to understand.
• Design declarative data warehouse transformation rules/guidelines, for extraction/sourcing, loading and transformation
• Use SQL queries/custom scripts for rapid prototyping data model/transforms
• Design, develop unit/integration test data/plan and scripts for data model deliverables.
• Create supporting documentation, such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow

Required Skills:

• BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of applied experience
• 5+ years of experience working in ETL, ODI, data architecture/modeling, data integrations.
• Expertise in data modeling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models
• Experience in developing BI Semantic Models
• Experience in working with dimensionally modeled data
• Experience in Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, OAC, Domo) to represent insights
• Knowledge of statistical inference, forecasting, multivariate analysis, cluster analysis, and optimization
• Experience in developing/supporting data solutions over multiple releases
• Experience with databases, performance tuning SQL and understanding ETL pipelines
• Exposure to Python or Java, and big data systems (Spark, Hive, Hadoop)
• Experience with data modeling software
