Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions to leverage cloud-native technologies to build highly scalable, resilient, and independent services
• Troubleshoot and debug Java programs
• Collaborate with stakeholders and domain experts to develop innovative technical solutions for the hospitality industry
• Apply agile development methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and timely delivery of software solutions
• Promote quality by automating test cases
• Provide technical leadership and resolve roadblocks of junior engineers
• Perform and enforce technical design document and code review processes to ensure high-quality and maintainable code
• Foster an environment of knowledge sharing through documentation and continuous learning among team members

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of in-depth knowledge of OOPS/Core Java and J2EE development
• Experience in JavaScript-based UI development preferably using Preact/React.JS
• Experience in Micro services-based Cloud Native application development using Spring Boot or Helidon running in Oracle Kubernetes Platform
• Practical experience of ADF (Application Development Framework) is preferable
• Hands-on experience in developing enterprise cloud application APIs using RESTful Web Services, leveraging JSON and Java
• Exhibit a strong knowledge and comprehension of Oracle databases
• Display proficiency in cloud technologies including the ability to deploy products in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
• Experience in Software Agile Development methodologies
• Have expertise and practical experience in creating secure and scalable enterprise applications, encompassing IDCS, SSO, OAuth2, and SAML
• Strong technical acumen, creativity, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
• Effective written and oral communication skills
