The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a Maharatna enterprise under the Government of India, is inviting applications for Field Supervisor (Safety) positions on a contractual basis for its ongoing projects across India and its subsidiaries. The engagement will be purely on a temporary basis for an initial period of two years, extendable for a maximum of five years based on project requirements.

As per the PGCIL Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a full-time Diploma in Engineering in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Fire Technology, or related fields from a recognized Technical Board/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply. Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E. are not allowed.

The selection process for the Field Supervisor (Safety) post will be based on a screening test followed by a merit-based shortlisting.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary in the pay band of ₹23,000-3%-1,05,000/-, along with Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA), HRA, and perks at 35% of the basic pay.

Educational Qualifications:

• Field Supervisor (Safety):
  • Full-time Diploma in Engineering in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Power Systems Engineering, Fire Technology, or equivalent from a recognized Technical Board/Institute with minimum 55% marks.
  • Higher qualifications like B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E. are not eligible.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of post-qualification experience in safety implementation at work sites.

Age Limit:

• Upper Age Limit: 29 years as of 25-03-2025.
• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India norms.
