Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, invites applications for the Junior Research Fellow position under a temporary tenure-based SERB/ANRF-funded project in the Department of Radiodiagnosis. The appointment is purely on a contractual basis.

As per the PGIMER Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with qualifications in Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology, M.Tech, ME, M.Sc., or a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Science are eligible to apply.

The selection for the Junior Research Fellow post will be based on merit, determined through an interview.

The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging between ₹30,000 and ₹37,000, plus HRA.

Educational Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university or equivalent
  • OR M.Tech/ME/M.Sc. or equivalent degree
  • OR Four-year Bachelor's Degree in Science

• Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of computer programming (C/C++/Python/MATLAB)
  • Experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence
  • Background in Biomedical/Digital Image Processing

• Age Limit:

  • Upper limit – 50 years (as per ANRF norms)
