Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum, invites applications for the Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) position under the ICMR-funded project titled “Catheter-directed image-guided delivery of small molecule chemotherapeutic agent using radio-opaque biodegradable microspheres for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma.” The appointment is purely on a temporary and contractual basis.
As per the SCTIMST Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Postgraduate degree, including an integrated PG degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology, along with NET/JRF or Ph.D. admission qualification, are eligible to apply.
The selection process will be based on a walk-in interview. If necessary, a qualifying written test will be conducted for initial screening.
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of ₹56,000 plus 18% HRA for the first and second years and ₹58,800 plus 18% HRA for the third year.

- Candidates already in service must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
