The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the CSIR-ASPIRE-funded project titled "Freeze-dried platelet rich plasma therapy as an alternative to antibiotic regime for subclinical endometritis in crossbred cows." The appointment is purely on a contractual basis for a duration of three years.

As per the TANUVAS Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with qualifications in BS (4-year program), BPharm, MBBS, BVSc, Integrated BS-MS, MSc, BE, or BTech with NET/GATE qualification are eligible to apply.

The selection for the post will be based on a written test followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates.

The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹37,000/- as per CSIR guidelines.

Educational Qualifications:

• Essential Qualifications:
  • BS (4-year program)/BPharm/MBBS/BVSc/Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree with 55% marks
  • Passing of NET/GATE test is mandatory
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in basic molecular techniques
  • Prior experience in animal experimentation

Age Limit:

28 years

Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates

Fellowship:

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - ₹37,000/- per month as per CSIR guidelines
