Job Role:

• Responsible for maintaining technical standards, using your judgement and experience to help ensure timely delivery of projects. 
• Contributing to a team culture of excellence – mentoring juniors, knowledge sharing, and providing constructive criticism to others to help them grow 
• Building isomorphic web application, using functional reactive programming (rxJS) and frontend (reactjs) JavaScript frameworks 
• Building UI elements in a mature component library 
• Have a mind-set that is willing to embrace new technologies and ways of doing things including curiosity about the usage of JavaScript beyond the desktop/mobile web browsers 
• Identifying and advocating for technical or process improvements 
• Writing automated tests (unit, functional, end-to-end, and visual regression) 
• Contribute to the team's DevOps setup, developing CI/CD pipelines and occasionally overseeing deployments 

Required Technical Skill Set:

• 4+ years of software development experience 
• Expert at building web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
• Highly regarded experience working with react, rx.js or bacon.js, video technologies, accessibility best practice, SEO, and performance tuning 
• Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing tools like mocha, sinon, chai, and codecept.js 
• Experience with version control (GIT) beyond the basics 
• Experience with continuous integration (CI) 
• Understanding of RESTful services 
• Strong troubleshooting skills 
• Strong verbal and written communication 
• Experience with delivering (and optimising) advanced web and/or Connected TV applications at scale
