Job Summary:
- Kong Enterprise API Gateway Architect/Engineer:
- Must be functioning as Integration Architect and Implementation Engineer
- Must have good knowledge and experience in Gateway Architecture
- Must have hands on implementation experience in Kong Enterprise Gateway
- Must have intergration experience in Kong with microservices APIs plus API management.
- Must be excellent in Nginx.
- Must have experience in configuring nested routes, services, rate limiting, load balancing rules
- Must be super strong in Linux/Unix commands, shell scripting.
- Must have experience in implementing best security practices to prevent DDoS attack, CORS in the API gateway
- Must have experience in setting up Security implementation with Security Tokens (JWT, OAuth), Network Bridging, NAT, Proxy, Ingress, API Management and integrating Kong with Security Framework.
- Logging, Security (OAuth/JWT), Customizing rate limits, CORS, Threat protection & load balancing in gateway, deployment/integration patterns
- Experience in Request and Response transformation at the gateway
- Experience in Response caching at the gateway
- Must have real-time experience in Troubleshooting & fixing any production issues in the gateway Good to have experience in Cloud / On-Premise Integration (Azure, AWS)
- Assist IT team to manage web services/gateway integration strategy
- Should be able to help the developers and team to understand the architect integration details plus the technical details.
