The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), Tirupati, invites applications for enrolment of Vedapandits under the Vedaparayana Scheme at the S.V. Institute of Higher Vedic Studies. Engagement is on a contractual basis and selected candidates will be deployed in designated TTD temples, Endowments temples, and recognized Mutts.

As per the TTD Recruitment 2025, candidates possessing traditional Vedic qualifications—Kramanta in Rig Vedam / Krishna Yajur Vedam / Sukla Yajur Vedam, Rahasyntham in Sama Vedam, or Samhitha in Atharvana Vedam—are eligible. Certificates must be issued by a recognized Mutt approved by the Endowment Department or by TTD.

The selection will be based on verification of qualifications and suitability, followed by an interview as decided by the management. TTD reserves the right to cancel or postpone the notification/enrolment/interviews for administrative reasons.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly sambhavana (honorarium) of ₹22,000. Duties include performing Vedaparayanam at the allotted temples/Mutts as assigned by TTD.

Eligibility Criteria for TTD Vedapandits Posts

• Must possess the specified Vedic qualifications (see “Educational Qualifications”).
• Only persons professing the Hindu religion are eligible as per TTD rules.
• Must adhere to traditional dress code and outlook.
• Age: 18 to 70 years.
• Not eligible: Vedapandits working in Government service or retired employees.

2. Attach attested copies of proof of age, qualification certificates, and two recent passport-size photographs.

4. Superscribe the envelope: “Application for Enrolment of Vedapandit under Vedaparayana Scheme.”
5. Ensure the application reaches on or before the last date; incomplete/late applications will not be entertained.
