Role Description:

• Responsible for handling incidents and High Availability environment incident Management on UNIX Platform [Redhat & Suse LINUX]. 
• Provide Problem Management triggers to iSolve teams and assist in Root Cause Analysis. 
• Change Management: Implement changes according to the Implementation and back out plan Perform Health check of Key production environments 
• Configuration Management: CMDB audits and regular updates of CMDB. 
• Identify automation opportunities in Incident and change implementation. 
• Develop solutions working with iSolve team Routine Performance Analysis, Capacity analysis, security audit analysis reports to customer for necessary planned changes Scripting for monitoring/ automating the Sys admin activity for change scheduled as projects on multiple servers Responsible for creating and maintaining Standard Operating procedures for incident handling. 
• Prepare Service delivery reports Identify and drive continual improvement program in UNIX environment and improve the service efficiency.

Skill Desirable:

• SAN/Network hardware configuration Knowledge. 
• Monitoring tools configuration Knowledge Knowledge on backup tools, storage arrays, database [Oracle, SQL]. 
• Excellent knowledge of the IT environment and its future trends
• Good Knowledge in Linux /Unix Server Installations & Configurations,
• Very good Hands-on exp in Clusters
• Hands-on exp with Virtual Servers,
• Good knowledge in Blade server administration
• Having certification in RHCE/SUSE
