Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, invites applications for the post of Senior Medical Officer (Casualty) on an ad-hoc basis in the Emergency Department. The appointment will be valid until the post is filled regularly or as per ad-hoc terms.

As per the PGIMER Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a medical degree and a postgraduate qualification (M.D. in Medicine or Surgery or equivalent) are eligible to apply.

The selection for the Senior Medical Officer (Casualty) post will be based on a walk-in interview.

The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs.15,600 - 39,100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.6,600, inclusive of NPA.

• Maximum Age: 40 years
