Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain Perl-driven codebase of workflow automation platform including code underlying data integration read and write patterns for both internal as well as customer-facing cloud solutions.
The individual will contribute as part of the Database Engineering team and work closely with IT architects, tech leads, business analysts and quality assurance specialists
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the following areas: Perl development
- 1+ years of experience in python or another programming language
- Experience with data integration and application design and development
- Experience with cloud computing [AWS preferred] and distributed system deployments
- Experience in analyzing user requirements and translating/implementing into code
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills [English]
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with source code management practices and systems
- Experience with Agile as well as Waterfall development methodologies
Preferred to have:
- Adept with SQL and shell scripting
- Knowledge of workflow automation and scheduling concepts and best practices-Autosys
- Ability to independently execute to Proofs-of-Concept [PoCs] targeting cloud-native managed services and features
