Spices Board of India (Spices Board) Technical Analyst 2025 Job Notification | Post Graduate | Walk-in

The Spices Board, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, invites applications for the position of Technical Analyst (Chemistry) on a contractual basis at the Quality Evaluation Laboratory, Tuticorin. The appointment is initially for one year and may be extended based on performance and organizational requirements.

In accordance with the Spices Board Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Postgraduate degree in Chemistry or related disciplines and relevant work experience are eligible to apply.

The selection for the desired post will be based on a walk-in test.

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs.30000.

Interested and qualified candidates must attend the walk-in test at the venue mentioned below on 03-02-2025 at 11:00 AM. Candidates are required to report one hour before the test for document verification.

Technical Analyst (Chemistry)

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit is 35 years as of the date of the written test.

Educational Qualifications:

Essential:

Postgraduate degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Organic Chemistry from a recognized university/institute.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in a food quality testing lab.

Hands-on experience with analytical instruments like HPLC, LC-MS/MS, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on a multiple-choice written test (MCQ) of postgraduate level standard for a duration of one hour.

Steps to Apply:

1. Attend the walk-in test with the following documents:
   • Duly filled application form (Annexure-I).
   • Original certificates and self-attested copies of proof of identity, age, educational qualifications, and experience.
   • One recent passport-sized color photograph.
2. Report to the test venue one hour before the scheduled time for document verification.
