Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Fortune Global 500 company and a Maharatna PSU, invites applications for Fixed-Term Engagement positions in Research & Development (R&D) and Renewable Energy. These appointments are purely on a contractual basis.

As per the BPCL Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with Ph.D. in relevant disciplines or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering and the required work experience are eligible to apply.

The selection process will be based on multiple parameters, including merit, relevant work experience, written/computer-based tests, case presentations, and interviews.

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary ranging between ₹1,08,210 and ₹3,57,700, depending on their role, qualifications, and experience.

• Research roles in Catalyst Development, CO2 Utilization, Biofuels, Energy Storage, Polymer Science, Computational Modeling, Metallurgical Studies, Analytical Sciences, and Bioprocess Engineering.

Fixed-Term Engagement – Renewable Energy

• Team Lead (Solar/Wind/Battery Energy Storage Systems)
• Team Member (Solar/Wind/Battery Energy Storage Systems)
• Civil/Mechanical Construction – Team Member

Educational Qualifications & Experience

• R&D Positions
  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Material Science, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or relevant fields with at least 1 year of research experience in specialized areas such as catalyst development, CO2 utilization, synthetic fuels, polymer synthesis, and bioprocess engineering.
• Renewable Energy Positions
  • Team Lead: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 18 years of experience, including 8 years in renewable energy projects.
  • Team Member: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 7 years of experience in solar, wind, or energy storage systems.
  • Civil/Mechanical Construction – Team Member: B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 7 years of experience in site supervision and project management.
