Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO), under the aegis of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

In the latest job notification, CSIR- CSIO announces job vacancies for Scientist & Senior Scientist posts to fill 12 positions at Chandigarh as well as its Centre at Chennai.

Under CSIR- CSIO Scientist & Senior Scientist Recruitment 2018, candidates completed M.E./M.Tech/PH.D in relevant subjects can apply.

On basis of screening list, interview/examination, an applicant for the announced vacancy will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will be recruited with salary pay of Rs 78,800 – Rs 2,08,700 per month.

Eligibility Criteria For CSIR- CSIO Scientist Posts:

No. Of Vacancies: 12 (UR-02 OBC-04 SC-02 PWD-04).

Name of the Post:  Scientists and Senior Scientists.

Age Limit:          

As on 21.12.2018, Candidate maximum age limit should be 37 years.

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Should complete M.E./M.Tech/PH.D. in relevant subjects from recognized university/institute.

Selection Process:

On basis of screening list, interview/examination.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 500 through online mode.

SC/ST/PH/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad Candidates category are exempted from submission of application fee.
