Essential Job Functions:

• Installing a Guest Operating System in a Virtual Machine
• Installing VMware Tools in the Guest Operating System
• Configuring a Virtual Machine to Use the LSI Logic SCSI Adapter
• Extend the Virtual Machine Disk Using GUI or command line.
• Installation and configuration of ESX on Blade and standalone servers. Configure DRS cluster.
• Configuring ESXi Network (Vmkernel, Vmotion, Virtual Machine network)
• Gathering the storage/network requirement and approaching the respective team
• Creating/Extending data store of SAN/NAS
• Configuring the /iDRAC/AMM/ILO for Dell/IBM/HP stand alone server
• Creating initial support accounts additional user accounts
• Physical to Virtual Migration for the Servers (P2V)
• Virtual to Virtual Migration for the Servers (V2V)
• Virtual to Physical Migration for the Servers (V2P)
