The Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Jadavpur, Kolkata, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the School of Materials Sciences under the supervision of Professor Asim Bhaumik. The position is part of a collaborative research project with Tata Steel and is purely temporary.

As per the IACS Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with an M.Sc. degree and a valid NET-LS/GATE qualification are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in product purification, material synthesis, catalysis, and product characterization.

The selection will be based on shortlisting and an interview.

The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship as per DST rules.

• The appointment will be for one year.
