The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), on behalf of the Standardization Testing & Quality Certification Directorate (STQC), invites applications for the post of Scientific Assistant under direct recruitment. The position is open across multiple streams, and the appointments will be on a permanent basis.

As per the NIELIT Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc. qualifications in relevant disciplines, as specified in the eligibility criteria, are eligible to apply.

The selection process for the Scientific Assistant post will be based on a written test (objective type) only, which will determine merit.

The selected candidates will be placed in Level-6 of the pay matrix, with a salary ranging between ₹35,400 and ₹1,12,400, along with applicable allowances as per government norms.

Upper Age Limit:

• Up to 30 years as of the application closing date, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories.
