The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) is conducting a walk-in interview for the post of Lab Technician under the IIPS-funded project titled “National Family Health Survey - 6 (NFHS-6)”. The appointment is purely on a contractual basis.

As per the NIMHANS Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with B.Sc or Intermediate with a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) and relevant work experience are eligible to apply.

The selection for the Lab Technician post will be based on merit, determined through a written test and interview.

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹21,000.

Educational Qualifications

• Essential Qualification:
  • B.Sc or Intermediate with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
• Desirable Qualification:
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Virology, Microbiology, or Diagnostic laboratories.
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is desirable.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 30 years.

Project & Employment Duration

• Initial appointment for six months, extendable based on funding approval.

2. Bring the following documents:
   • Updated Bio-data.
