In latest employment notification with reference to Notification No.12/2018, the PSC announces job vacancies for Forest Apprentice posts through direct recruitment to fill 158 vacancies, through Tamil Nadu Forest Subordinate Service.

Under TNPSC Forest Apprentice Recruitment 2018, aspirants completed Degree in relevant subjects or equivalent is eligible to apply.

On basis of Written Exam, Physical Test (Walking Test) and Oral Test an applicant for TNPSC Apprentice category post will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will be recruited on regular basis with salary pay of Rs.37,700- 1,19,500 per month.

Eligibility Criteria For TNPSC 2018 Group-IV Posts:

Name of Posts: Forest Apprentice.

• Regular: 148.
• SC-Shortfall: 10.

Age Limit:

As on 01.04.2018, Candidate age limit should be 18 to 30 yrs.

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Candidate should complete Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or its equivalent degree of any Institution or University recognized by UGC.

Selection Process: On basis of Written Exam, Physical Test (Walking Test) and Oral Test.

Application Fee:

Applicants have to pay an examination fee of Rs 150 through online or offline mode.

Candidates from the reserved category are exempted from paying a fee.

Note: New applicants have to pay Registration Fee of Rs 150.
