In the latest job notification, Cochin Shipyard announces job vacancies for Apprentice posts, in reference to No. P&A/2(234)/19.

Under Cochin Shipyard Assistant (Human Resource) Apprentice Recruitment 2019, candidates completed Degree in relevant subjects can apply.

On the basis of Objective Type Online Test and Certificate Verification, an applicant for the desired post will be finalized on merit.

The selected candidate will undergo training for a period of one year, will stipend pay of Rs. 10,000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria For Cochin Shipyard Apprentice Posts:

No. Of Vacancies: 30 (UR-13, OBC-8, SC-4, ST-2, EWS-3).

Name of the post: Assistant (Human Resource) Apprentice.

Age limit:

As on 25 July 2019, Candidate maximum age limit should be 25 years.

An applicant from reserved and special categories, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Govt. guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Should complete Degree in Arts (other than Fine Arts/ Performing Arts) or Science or Mathematics or Commerce or Computer Applications or Business Administration from a recognized University with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or an equivalent CGPA/ grade point. Proficiency of working on Computers including use of MS Office or similar applications/proficiency in shorthand would be an added advantage.

Selection Process:

On the basis of Objective Type Online Test and Certificate Verification.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 200 through online mode.

No application fee for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). They are exempted from payment of application fee.
