Responsibilities:
- Develop Tableau dashboards with advanced calculations, Scheduling Extracts, Performance Optimizations.
- Maintain, enhance, and modify existing reports and dashboards based on business requirements
- Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions.
- Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
- Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
- Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
- Creating tools to store data within the organization.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Tableau report development
- Solid Understanding of data structures, the difference between Joins / Blending, filters, Action Filters, Row-level security implementation, reporting basics, advanced visualizations, parameters, Sets, Groups, Extracts, Incremental refreshes, Row-level and table calculations.
- Expertise in any of the BI reporting applications
- Proven experience in Data warehousing concepts.
- Working knowledge of Viz/Server: Advanced visualizations and skills with interactivity and publishing
- Ability to develop ad-hoc SQL queries for analysis and studies to answer business questions
- Proficient in Database and SQL Knowledge: Clear understanding of Databases, the difference between DBMS vs RDBMS, Normalization vs denormalization, Tables, views. Select, joins, aggregations, subqueries, where, etc
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Expertise in data analysis, validation and mapping/design
- You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
