Position Summary:

The Database Developer will be responsible for developing data models, stored procedures, and optimizing queries in PL/SQL. The Database Developer will also be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting databases for web and enterprise applications. The Database Developer should also have knowledge of database technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize database structures for web and enterprise applications.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, and packages in PL/SQL.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries for improved performance.
• Perform database migrations and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain database documentation.
• Work with application developers to understand data needs and develop appropriate data models.
• Troubleshoot database issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain automated processes for data loading and manipulation.
• Ensure that data is secure and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience developing databases in a professional environment.
• Expert knowledge of PL/SQL, database design, and optimization techniques.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies, including Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of data security and regulatory compliance requirements.

Mandatory Certification: 

• Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate
