The National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad, invites applications for Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) positions under a research project investigating oxidative stress-induced ovarian reserve decline and potential therapeutic strategies for premature ovarian aging. The appointments are purely on a contractual basis.

As per the NIAB Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a first-class postgraduate degree in Life Sciences or a professional PG degree (M.V.Sc., M.Tech., M.Sc., M.Pharm.) in relevant fields can apply. Those with a second-class PG degree and a Ph.D. are also eligible.

The selection for the desired posts will be based on merit, determined through an online interview.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹56,000/- plus HRA, as per ICMR guidelines.

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • First-class Postgraduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) in Life Sciences OR
    • Postgraduate Degree in a professional course (M.V.Sc., M.Tech., M.Sc., M.Pharm.) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Immunology with first division.
    • OR, a Second-Class PG Degree with a Ph.D. in a relevant field.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • Experience in large/small animal handling.
    • Background in ovarian biology.
