Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, RDS, and more.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible to automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources.
• Design, implement and manage highly available and scalable Kafka clusters. Monitor Kafka performance, troubleshoot issues and optimize configurations.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts, Pipelines and Blueprints in support of the platform development and support
• Discuss projects at a technical level and participate in brainstorming sessions.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams, make necessary communications to complete tasks assigned at the sprint planning meetings.

What We’re Looking For:  

• Strong familiarity with the AWS platform will be necessary, particularly on services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, RDS, CloudWatch, and AWS Security groups.
• A good understanding of the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of any messaging products, such as Apache Kafka, is desirable.
• Having prior experience in writing automation scripts will be a plus. Having Terraform and Ansible experience will be very beneficial. Having a good understanding of the of CI/CD technologies will be a plus.
• Working knowledge on Unix OS will be required.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills are required
