Spices Board of India, Trainee Analyst (Chemistry) 2025 Job Notification | B.Sc. | Walk-in

The Spices Board, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, invites applications exclusively from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates for the position of Trainee Analyst (Chemistry) on a contractual training basis at the Quality Evaluation Laboratory (QEL), Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu.

In accordance with the Spices Board Recruitment 2025 Notification, candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related fields are eligible to apply.

The selection for the position will be based on a walk-in test.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.20,000.

Interested and qualified candidates must attend the walk-in test at the venue mentioned below on 10-02-2025 at 11:00 AM. Candidates should report one hour before the test for document verification.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit is 30 years as of the date of the walk-in test.

Educational Qualifications:

Essential:

Bachelor’s Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects (applicable for triple major systems) or a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university/institute.

Note:

Candidates who have completed training in any of the Spices Board offices are not eligible to apply.

Nature of Training

• Training on chemical analysis of spices and spice products.
• Training period: One year, extendable for one more year based on performance.

Steps to Apply:

Candidates must:

1. Fill out the application form (Annexure I) and bring it to the venue.
2. Bring the following documents:
   • Passport-sized color photograph.
   • Original certificates for:
     • Proof of identity (Voter ID, Driving License, etc.).
     • Proof of age.
     • Proof of educational qualification.
     • Caste certificate.
   • One set of attested photocopies of the above documents, stapled to the filled-in and signed Annexure I.
