Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali, an autonomous research institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, invites applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Senior Research Fellow (SRF) positions under the ANRF/SERB-funded project.

In accordance with the INST Recruitment JRF/SRF 2025 Job Notification, candidates with a Postgraduate degree/Degree/NET/GATE in relivent fields are eligible to apply.

The selection for the desired post will be based on merit, determined through a hybrid-mode interview. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email.

The selected candidate will receive a monthly basic pay ranging from Rs.31,000 to Rs.35,000, depending on the role, along with additional allowances.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Age Limit:

JRF: Up to 28 years as of 04-02-2025.

SRF: Up to 30 years as of 04-02-2025.

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.

Educational Qualifications:

For JRF:

Postgraduate Degree in Physics/Electronics/Material Science, OR

Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in a Professional course with CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification.

For SRF:

Same as JRF with at least two years of research experience.

Selection Process:

Based on an interview (hybrid mode).
