The Role:

• Develop & Extend applications on SAP BTP following clean code principles
• Build and extend IES Platform Services including tools, libraries or other reusable components and take over the full ownership of these offerings
• Support & Consult SAP development teams in application development related topics
• Act as a central contact point and expert for technical questions in SAPs IT organization
• Research & evaluate latest cloud technologies and document the outcome to help positioning latest technology trends in the SAP IT Technology Strategy

Role Requirements:

• Strong technical background and deep knowledge in software development 
• 3 years+ of practical experience building cloud applications using modern web development frameworks and technology stacks
• Proficient experience in at least two modern Programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) and SAP UI5 is a huge plus
• Practical knowledge with cloud platforms; preferable with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cloud Foundry
• Very good language skills in English, written and verbal
• Very good documentation skills
• Goal-oriented, exact and self-organized workstyle and the strive for excellence
• Technical Degree, preferably Bachelor's or master’s in computer science
