Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) Patna, an autonomous institute of the Government of Bihar, has announced vacancies for faculty positions at its Nursing College as per Advertisement No. 01/Faculty/Nursing College/IGIMS/2025.

In accordance with the IGIMS Recruitment Professor, Associate Professor and Others 2025 Job Notification, candidates with a Master's Degree in Nursing and relevant professional or teaching experience are eligible to apply.

The selection for the desired posts will be based on merit, determined through an interview.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly basic pay ranging from Rs.67,700 to Rs.1,23,100, along with additional allowances.

Name of the Posts:

Professor: 7 Posts

Associate Professor: 5 Posts

Assistant Professor: 3 Posts

Age Limit:

The upper age limit is 50 years as of 10-02-2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per Bihar Government rules:

Educational Qualifications:

Professor:

Master's Degree in Nursing with advanced specialization.

At least 10 years of experience in nursing, including 7 years in nursing education.

Associate Professor:

Master's Degree in Nursing.

At least 7 years of experience, including 3 years of teaching experience.

Assistant Professor:

Master's Degree in Nursing.

At least 5 years of experience, including 2 years of teaching experience.

Selection Process:

Based on an interview.
